The Google+ social network now tops up with 10 million members
This Thursday, the Google chief Larry Page said that the freshly launched Google+ has been successfully completed its 10 million members. This has been claimed as a greatest achievement for the Google team(The Internet Giant).
During the quarterly earnings conference call it was said that, Over 10 million people have joined Google+. This Google+ service were launched as a rival to Facebook on June 28th.
The membership is limited to invitation-only while the services are in a test. He also said that the items that are shared daily at Google-plus is more than a billion.
Google's Senior Vice President, Vic Gundotra said in a blog about the social-networking, "Online sharing is awkward. Even broken. And we aim to fix it”. He also said,” We'd like to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to software”. Google+ provides the facility to users to separate online friends and family by using different “Circles”, termed to networks. One of the main criticisms of Facebook is that the updates made by friends are shared with all of one’s friends, to separate, one needs to create a separate group. This problem have been decently removed in Google+. Gundotra said. "In life we share one thing with college buddies, another with parents, and almost nothing with our boss”, main facility is that, particular circle shares information only to the same circle members.
